Ticks are members of the spider family. They are responsible for the spread of Lyme disease. Lyme disease is the most significant vector-borne disease in the United States and is now a “backyard” threat. This map shows the occurrence of Lyme cases in Ohio in 2015.

In addition to our barrier spray, we also offer Tick Tubes to people experiencing especially heavy tick populations. The barrier spray is effective at eliminating 85-90% of adult ticks. The tick tubes allow us to also eliminate the younger stages of ticks. The tubes contain a treated cotton which we place in areas of your yard where mice tend to live. The mice take the treated cotton back to their nests where the tick larvae and nymphs are waiting. This cotton does not affect the mice in any way.
